Prevagen: Be Ready For The Unknown

In life, you always have to be ready for the unknown. As soon as you think you have it all figured out, something is going to come around and surprise you. That is what the people over at Prevagen are trying to get across to their customers.

For people who are experiencing memory-loss symptoms for the first time, it’s all very new to them. They are not exactly sure how they should be handling it and how serious of a problem it really is for them.

Because they have never dealt with this before, they are caught off guard by it. However, Prevagen, the memory-loss supplement, is here to catch them up to speed.

They know a lot of people are struggling with the fact that summer is almost over. People love the summer, and it is their favorite season of the year. However, if they have memory-loss issues, they need to be ready for how the fall season is going to alter their lifestyle.

It doesn’t make them depressed or anything like that. It just changes how their brain processes information and remembers things. They need to be aware of this and prepared for whatever knocks on their door.

One way they can combat this problem is to get a great night’s sleep. Prevagen understands the importance of a routine for someone with memory loss. In order to be in that routine and get the most they can out of it, they need to be going to bed and waking up at around the same time every morning.

If they do that, it will help keep them sharp and refreshed. It’s all about finding that sleep schedule that is going to make sure they get the most out of the day. They recommend seven to eight hours.

During the summer, a lot of people might have forgotten about their daily exercise. They might have put it off for a day or two here and there. Now, they need to step up their exercise game slowly but surely. It is not only good for their brain health, but it is good for their body health as well. It helps to keep a schedule as well when you are getting back into the fall routine. If you have a schedule, you will know what’s on board for the upcoming week. It also allows you to set aside some time for yourself to take it easy.

Speaking of taking it easy, you always need to make time for yourself to relax and enjoy the simpler things in life.

American Addiction Centers can help people struggling with alcohol abuse and list the progressive stages of it

An article from recaps what alcoholism is, something that many suffer from, followed by what the different stages are.

According to the article, alcoholism, or what it is labeled for as (AUD) or alcohol use disorder, is someone who is abusing alcohol and who have grown dependent on it over time.

American Addiction Centers, like many, understand that the term can have various stereotypes attached to it but believe that it is not as simple as that. The article makes note that it is a disease when individuals start to consume a lot of it over time, unfortunately, who need it to feel good.

Many suffer from this disease as it ranges in the millions with young people aged from 12-17 suffering from it too. They have found a link that for people who have AUD they also can have some other kind of mental disorder and that alcohol can be consumed as a vice to relax and have fun. Getting to the point where it is characterized as a disease happens over time with stages.

A lot of people tend to die once they have the disease, and excessive drinking over time can have severe ramifications on someone’s health. Anyone can find out if they have a problem with alcohol by answering questions in the NIAAA’S Diagnostic and Statistical Manuel of Mental Disorders. There is a scale where it states what stage or severity someone can be in.

The first stage is called the early stage where an individual goes on binge drinking. It could be social drinking that is accompanied by 4 or 5 drinks within a 2-hour frame. Individuals who have parents who abuse alcohol or who are in an unstable household with drugs or violence are at a greater risk for developing the disorder. Next is the chronic stage, where individuals use liquor to change their mood.

The severe stage is the one where people start to make poor decisions such as losing friends or disrupt any activities that they usually take part in. Some individuals can be at this stage but still be able to go to work and function as a member of society, although, it will eventually crash over time. Excessive drinking can lead to many harmful diseases such as high blood pressure, cancer, heart diseases, nerve damage, and many other ailments. Not everyone is totally dependent on the alcohol but the next stage is a different story as it is called end-stage.

This last part is where someone completely loses control of themselves and loses either their job, duties at home, friends, or all of the above. This is the step where someone needs to seek help as they can not control themselves or stop their consumption of alcohol.

People need to understand that this disease does not just arise from consuming alcohol but from other factors such as unhappiness or other life events that can trigger it.

This is exactly where American Addiction Centers steps in as they have helped many people and have had much more success compared to other treatment centers. American Addiction Centers treats everyone differently to help treat their case and is open to anyone.

American Addiction Centers: They Won’t Be Quiet About This

When someone has been screwed over, they need to talk about it openly and honestly. They also need to take action. If not, people are going to think they can get away with this sort of thing all of the time. The AAC (American Addiction Centers) is suing the National Association of Addiction Treatment Providers (NAATP) for coming after them in false and unnecessary ways.

They are trying to take away business from them, and they are also trying to ruin all of the good work they have done when it comes to addicts. By having this lawsuit, the AAC ensures they are sending a message loud and clear: they won’t take crap from anyone.

They have a singular goal as a company, which is to help out addicts that are going through a difficult time. They have been doing this for a long time, and many say no one comes close to competing with them in that field. It is because they put the time into it and their full effort.

It is like anything in life, when someone devotes their heart and soul into something, they will see the rewards. For them, the biggest reward is hearing from an addict that checking into an AAC treatment center changed their life.

Going back to this lawsuit, they have been blocked by the NAATP from even advertising on Google. This is a huge blow for the company. For example, if someone is looking up addiction centers, they will have major issues trying to find the AAC. That is taking away help from someone that needs it. The whole thing is a mess, but through it all, the AAC has proven they can handle this situation with class and dignity. They have never gone down to the level of the NAATP. They have taken the high road each and every time. They know this matter will get handled in court the right way.

There is only so much a person can take before they have to fight back and do something about it. If not, they are going to keep running into problems like this from other companies. They don’t want anything to get in the way of their ultimate goal of making sure their treatment centers are up and running with first class treatment.

They truly live for this, and it is their world. It’s hard not to be inspired by the work over at the AAC. Addiction is part of many homes, and the AAC wants to get it out of the homes and the streets. They want people to feel as though they are stronger than their addiction.

As far as the lawsuit they are going through, they are confident the lawyers will take care of it and the judge will see the facts.

Serving Veterans Is The Goal Of The Salute To Recovery Program

Veterans returning home are often suffering from mental health issues and addiction. They have been through experiences that most people never have to confront, and this takes its toll.

Desert Hope Treatment Center which is an American Addiction Centers facility in Las Vegas is offering a special program for veterans; it is called The Salute to Recovery Program. American Addiction Centers is a publicly traded company that offers help for mental health issues all across the United States.

It’s success rate is double that of the national average. Addiction is an illness and must be treated as such; the bigger picture must always be addressed.

Veterans returning from duty often do not reach out for help but suffer in silence. They can become isolated from their families and communities and endure physical as well as mental health issues. Veterans have been used to seeing themselves as courageous, as they are also viewed by civilians, and asking for help can often be difficult for them.

In 2016 more than 4 out of 5 veterans who could not work said that it was because of physical or mental health issues.

The Salute to Recovery Program offers veterans so many of the ingredients they need for a successful recovery. There is a curriculum that teaches them about addictions as a disease and how they can start on a path to recovery. Many staff members are also veterans, and therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Narrative therapy are offered to help patients find a more positive way to regard their life stories, a process that becomes an alternative to the negative and painful thoughts that fuel addiction.

The Desert Hope Treatment Center offers the veterans an area on campus where they are together with other veterans on the program and can come together as a community. Veterans suffering from addictions are very often isolated in their communities, and The Salute to Recovery program gives them a chance to bond with others without feeling pressured.

Ambrozino Storr, CEO of Desert Hope Treatment Center, has commented that it is an honor to be able to be of service to the veterans who have given so much in the service of their country.
